Lyle Martin transferred a property on the left bank of the District Court for Baxter County was held June 21 and 24, 2004, at the Baxter County Criminal Courts building on Sixth Street. Of the 87 cases heard against 64 defendants, 43 were traffic violations, 11 were hot-check charges, seven involved alcohol and another four were for driving while intoxicated Two of the cases involved domestic violence, two involved boating violations and one involved drug paraphernalia. Four defendants received a suspended imposition of sentence, and one was a minor. Nineteen defendants were sentenced to jail Those cases are reported here. Matthew Tillery, 20, of Cotter was fined $150 and sentenced to 15 days in jail for nonpayment of fines.

Desmond E. Arnold, 24, of Elizabeth was fined $150 and sentenced to seven days in jail for nonpayment of fines. Rebecca Jean Fuller, 35, of Mountain View was fined $1,110 and sentenced to 180 days in jail for driving while intoxicated (second offense). All but 30 days of that sentence were suspended, and Fuller may serve all but eight of the remaining days in an inpatient treatment facility or at extensive outpatient counseling. Fuller also was fined a total of $75 for a stop sign violation, driving left of center and failure to wear a seatbelt.

Gerald C. Walrath, 49, of Mountain Home was fined $1,110 and sentenced to 180 days in jail for driving while intoxicated (second offense) and reckless driving. All but 30 days of that sentence were suspended, and Walrath may serve all but eight of the remaining days in an inpatient treatment facility or at extensive outpatient counseling. Charges of speeding, driving with a suspended license and refusal to submit to test were dropped. Melissa S.

Morris, 18, of Yel-lville was fined $660 and sentenced to 90 days in jail for driving while intoxicated (first offense) and driving with an expired license. All but one day of that sentence was suspended, and Morris was credited for one day already served. An underage possession of alcohol charge against Morris was dropped. Pamela J. Murphy, 34, of Gassville was fined $660 and sentenced to 90 days in jail for driving while intoxicated (first offense).

All but two days of that sentence were suspended, and Murphy was credited for one day already served. She may serve the remaining day of her sentence at community service. Murphy also was fined $75 and sentenced to another three days in jail for driving with a suspended license. All three days of that sentence were suspended. Calvin Christopher Alexan der, 19, of Cotter was fined $1,054.40 and sentenced to three days in jail for a hot-check violation.

All three days of that sentence were suspended. Melissa Ann Levey, 24, of Lake City was fined $680 and sentenced to three days in jail for a hot-check violation. All three days of that sentence were suspended. Brenda Sue Smith, 21, of Yel-lville was fined $678.43 and sentenced to three days in jail for two hot-check violations. All three days of that sentence were suspended.

Smith was fined an additional $150 and sentenced to 10 days in jail for nonpayment of fines. On that charge she was credited for two days already served. Lenora N. McFarland, 19, of Mountain Home was fined $676.89 and sentenced to three days in jail for a hot-check violation. All three days of that sentence were suspended.

Sarah Jan Friend, 23, of Hens-ley was fined $527.86 and sentenced to three days in jail for two hot-check violations. All three days of that sentence were suspended. Martin Andrew Farley, 27, of Mountain Home was fined $360.74 and sentenced to three days in jail for two hot-check violations. All three days of that sentence were suspended. Woodley A.

Remmer, 28, of Gassville was fined $75 and sentenced to three days in jail for driving with a suspended license. All three days of that sentence were suspended. Remmer also was fined $185 for not having proof of insurance. Barbara J. James, 40, of Elizabeth was fined $135 and sentenced to three days in jail for driving with a suspended license.

All three days of that sentence were suspended. Bruce Allen Linnemann, 40, of Mountain Home was fined $210 and sentenced to two days in jail for disorderly conduct. Both days of that sentence were suspended. Mark Steven Pfeiffer, 39, of Mountain Home was fined $210 and sentenced to two days in jail for disorderly conduct Both days of that sentence were suspended. Jeffery S.

Hess, 33, of Gassville was fined $210 and sentenced to days in jail for public intoxication. He was credited for two days already served. David D. Graham, 25, of Mountain Home was fined $210 and sentenced to one day in jail for public intoxication. He was credited for one day already served.

i Michael W. Fawcett, 35, of Mountain Home was fined $210 and sentenced to one day in jail for violation of the Misdemeanor Paraphernalia Act. He may serve his day of jail at community service. fined $115 for speeding and $75 for a fictitious vehicle license. Crystal Lambert, 27, of Mountain Home was fined $135 and sentenced to three days in jail for driving with a suspended license.

All three days of that sentence were suspended. Lambert also was fined $185 for having no insurance. Steven Lee Stevens, 30, of Rogers was fined $135 and sentenced to three days in jail for driving with a suspended license. All three days of that sentence were suspended. Stevens was fined an additional $110 for speeding.

Shane Lee Wyatt, 29, of Midway was fined $135 and sen-' tenced to three days in jail for driving with a suspended license. All three days of that sentence were suspended. Kenneth Allan Boucher, 33, of Summit was fined $160 and sentenced to two days in jail for criminal trespass. He was credited for one day already served. One 18-year-old defendant was unable to appear to answer a possession of a controlled substance charge because he had died between the date of his arrest and his court date. Three other defendants were also minors. Eleven defendants were sentenced to jail. Their cases are reported here. Smith, 20, of Mountain Home was fined $460 and Licenses for the following marriages were issued in Baxter County between June 24 and July 1, 2004: Daniel Gene Brakebill, 62, and Darlene Rose Brand-tonies, 62 Darren James Casey, 23, and Krystle Marie Ward, 20 Wesley Eugene Galloway, 22, and Charlotte Leann Sullins, 24 all three days of that sentence at community service. Juan Carlo Fernandez Aguilar, 27, of Mountain Home was fined $110 and sentenced to four days in jail for driving without a license (fourth offense). Aguilar also was fined $135 and sentenced to another four days in jail for driving without a license (fifth offense). The second jail sentence will be served concurrently with the first.

Aguilar was warned that another conviction for driving without a license would result in a 10-day jail sentence. Craig A. Nodine, 29, of Mountain Home was fined $135 and sentenced to three days in jail for driving with a suspended license. All three days of that sentence were suspended. Nodine was fined an additional $210 and sentenced to three more days in jail for failure to appear in answer to a speeding ticket.

Nine days of that sentence were suspended, and McCaughan may serve the remaining day at community service.

Ginamarie E. Lowrie, 27, of Mountain Home was fined $210 and sentenced to 10 days in jail for disorderly conduct. All 10 days of that sentence were suspended. Lowrie was fined an additional $210 and sentenced to three days in jail for possession of an instrument of crime.
