The event was sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Mountain Home. According to a press release, the NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass Kick football competition allowed youngsters to showcase talents in punting, passing and kicking with scores based on distance and accuracy. The eight winners selected will advance to sectional competition at Jonesboro in Octo ber and could qualify for the team championship competition at Nashville, in conjunction with a Tennessee Titans game. In the age 14-15 categories, Jake Young of Mountain Home won first in boys with 150 feet Dylan Crawford of Mountain Home won second. Merica Sammons of Mountain Home won first in girls with 174 feet, 8 inches.
