Hogg, 36, of Mountain Home was sentenced to three days in jail for two hot check violations, first and second offenses; that sentence was suspended.

Hogg was fined $260. Brandy R. Hughes, 21, of Mountain Home was sentenced to three days in jail for shoplifting; that sentence was suspended. She was fined $175. Stephen Shaw, 25, of Gainesville, was sentenced to three days in jail and fined $315 for three hot check violations, first, second and third offenses.

Scott A. Lube, 19, of Mountain Home was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $95 for driving with a suspended license, second offense. may serve the remaining day performing community service. Steven John Woznick, 49, of Elizabeth was sentenced to 90 days in jail and fined $450 for driving while intoxicated. All of that sentence except for one day was suspended, and Woznick was credited one day for time previously served.

Daniel Dwight, 20, of Calico Rock was sentenced to four days in jail and fined $70 for nonpayment of fines. He was credited four days for time previously served. William R. Ashworth, 39, of Springfield, Mo, was sentenced to three days in jail and fined $95 for driving with a suspended license. That sentence will be suspended upon reinstatement of Ashworth's license.

Mary Cathy Grafton, 52, of Romance was sentenced to served. He may serve the remaining two days performing community service. Larry W. Pyle, 62, of Midway was sentenced to 90 days in jail and fined $450 for driving while intoxicated. All but two days of that sentence were suspended, and Pyle was credited one day for time previously served.

He may serve the remaining day performing community service. Walter A. Urweider, 67, of Midway was sentenced to 90 days in jail and fined $500 for driving while intoxicated. All but three days of that sentence were suspended, and Urweider was credited one day for time previously served. He may serve the remaining two days performing community service.

Daniel West, 27, of Jones-boro was sentenced to 90 days in jail and fined $450 for driving while intoxicated. All but two days of that sentence were suspended, and West was credited one day for time previously served. He District court for Baxter County was held Jan. 19 and 21, 2010, before Judge Van Gearhart. Of the 245 cases against 133 defendants, 125 were for various traffic violations, 38 were for contempt, 19 were for alcohol-related offenses, 11 were for hot check violations, five were for state Game and Fish Commission violations and three were for drug-related offenses.

There were 18 defendants sentenced to jail. Those cases are reported here: Debbie Willett, 45, of Mountain Home was sentenced to one year in jail and fined $935 for driving while intoxicated, third offense. All but five months of that sentence were suspended, and Willett was credited three days for time previously served. Terry Lee Barbour, 56, of Midway was sentenced to 90 days in jail and fined $500 for driving while intoxicated. All but two days of that sentence were suspended, and Bar bour was credited one day for time previously served.

He may serve the remaining day performing community service. Barbour also was sentenced to 180 days in jail and fined $850 for driving while intoxicated, second offense. All but 30 days of that sentence were suspended, and Barbour will be credited 20 days upon completion of a level 2 alcohol program. Terry Shumate, 25, of Mountain Home was sentenced to 180 days in jail and fined $1,250 for driving while intoxicated, second offense. All but 30 days of that sentence were suspended, and Shumate will be credited 19 days if he completes a Multiple Offenders Program.

Shaughan P. Burns, 42, of Mountain Home was sentenced to 90 days in jail and fined $600 for driving while intoxicated. All but four days of that sentence were suspended, and Burns was credited one day for time previously served. He may serve the remaining three days performing community service. Tricia A.

Claghom, 46, of Tecumseh, was sentenced to 90 days in jail and fined $450 for driving while intoxicated.
