"Big Bob" LaFleur, 70, of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born to Orelle and Rita LaFleur in Milford, Massachusetts on July 17, 1940.

He was a retired dozer operator in construction. He had lived in the area since 1986. He is survived by his mother, Rita of Massachusetts; his partner of life, Janet Hodge, of Flippin; two sons: Robert LaFleur, of Massachusetts; and Chris LaFleur The Baxter County Sheriff's Office notified the public Wednesday that a Level 3 registered sex offender, with a high risk to reoffend, has been released from the Arkansas Department of Corrections and now is residing in Baxter County. Lloyd Curtis Yeatman II, 42, resides at 97 County Road 476 in the Clarkridge area. Yeatman was convicted of indecent or lewd acts with a child younger than 16 28.

Yeatman on Feb. 28, 2000. The offense involved Yeatman's engaging in sexual contact with a 9-year-old female, documentation shows. Yeatman is not wanted by law enforcement at this time, and the notification is not intended to increase fear; but rather to inform the public, the sheriff's office said. This information cannot be used to threaten, intimidate, or harass registered sex offenders, and citizen abuse will not be tolerated, the sheriff said.

Vanderpool of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Kirby Family Funeral Home Chapel. Cleala died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, at the age of 92. Cleala was born May 6, 1919 in New Florence, Missouri. She was married to Albert Pottebaum from mm in Krissi Harris' name was spelled incorrectly in a photo caption in Wednesday's Bulletin. We regret the error.

Hill Taylor KearW Better Hearing Summer Dawn Bailey (1975-2011) passed away in her home in Midway, Arkansas, Wednesday, June 15th, 2011. Summer Dawn was born July 24, 1975 in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Donald and Susan Bailey. She was a lifelong member of the Fairview United Methodist Church in Mountain Home. Summer Dawn was preceded in death by her I Expensive, Balance Centers It's Priceless" Ear Car3 si maternal grandfather, Joseph Price. Survivors include her daughter, Adeline Marie Bailey of Mountain Home; her parents, Donald Ray Bailey, and Susan Marie Bailey, both of Mountain Home; and two sisters, Misty Dawn Davis and Ann Marie Bailey; and many other wonderful family members and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held at Fairview United Methodist Church, Saturday, June 25th at 2:00 PM, where the family will be receiving friends. Pastor Jimmie Snow will be officiating. A private graveside committal service for the family will be at a later date at Fairview UM Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church, 86 Fairview Lane, Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653, Arrangements are by Twin Lakes Cremation Society and Funeral Home. 1939 until his death in 1985.

Cleala lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1982, moving from Hermann, Missouri. She married Harlan Vanderpool on August 16, 1996 at Mountain Home. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Cleala is survived by her husband, Harlan; 2 daughters, Judy (Gary) Barnett of Roswell, GA and Ann Setser of Chesterfield, MO; 2 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House. Berry has first chemo treatment LITTLE ROCK (AP) The family of former Congressman Marion Berry says the longtime representative from east Arkansas has undergone his first chemotherapy treatment for lymphoma. Berry's wife Carolyn wrote on CaringBridge.org that Berry had his first treatment on Wednesday and that he was recovering from the experience. Berry underwent surgery to remove a tumor from the left side of his brain on June 14, and he was subsequently diagnosed with lymphoma. He is being treated at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Berry served seven terms in Congress until deciding against a re-election bid last year. Gerry Lance Indiana man faces felony theft charge BULL SHOALS Christopher Grcich, 42, of Whiting, was arrested Tuesday for felony theft of property. The arrest stems from a report filed in Bull Shoals by an alleged acquaintance of Grcich, who was missing a substantial amount of jewelry.

Investigators say they discovered Grcich had pawned the stolen items at a pawn shop in Mountain Home. Grcich posted bond of $5,000 through a bail bonding company and is to appear in Marion County Circuit Court at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Bulletin Staff Deputy a driver in two-vehicle accident There were no injuries and no citations were issued in a Monday evening accident involving a Baxter County Sheriff's Office patrol car. Deputy Kristofer Savino, 26, of Gepp, was a driver in a two-vehicle accident at 6:30 p.m. Monday on state Highway 5512 miles south of Mountain Home, according to Arkansas State Trooper Daniel D. Busch.

Savino, driving a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria southbound, failed to stop and struck the rear end of a southbound 1999 Ford Contour, which was stopped on the highway attempting to make a left-hand turn, Busch said. The Contour's driver was Robert Raffee, 35, of Mountain Home. Busch said there were no injuries and no charges were filed in the accident. Baxter County Sheriff's Office CapL Jeff Lewis said damage to the front of the sheriff's office vehicle was heavy, approximately $8,000 to $10,000.
