(870)425-6978. Frank T. Macnak, 88 Mr. Frank T. Macnak of Mountain Home, Arkansas, died Saturday morning, House.

He was 88. He was born October 18, 1920, in Joliet, Illinois, to Andrew and Helen Walczyk Macnak and married Christine Vrehas on May 2, 1942, in Crown Point, Indiana. He served as a surgical technician from 1942 to 1945 in the U.S. Army, receiving two bronze star medals, the good conduct medal, and the World September 12, 2009, at Hospice War II victory Medal. Afterwards, he worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company and retired as general foreman.

In 1973 Mr. Macnak became vice-president of Speed-Dee Tire Repair Equipment, Inc. In the same year, he and his family moved with the company to Mountain Home. On August 7, 1964, in Brewer, Maine, Mr. Macnak was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors are one son Frank C. Macnak I. and wife Wilma of Mountain Home; one daughter Christine Martineau and husband Paul of Mountain Home; two grandsons Frank C. Macnak II of High Ridge, Missouri, and Justin Macnak of Mountain Home; and two great-grand-children Acacia and Zedekiah Macnak of High Ridge, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.

A memorial service for Mr. Macnak will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Green Valley Drive, on Saturday, September 19, at 1:30 P.M. with Mr. Cliff Prough officiating. Arrangements are by Twin Lakes Cremation Society and Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or World Wide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses Helen Irene Nix White McFarland, 88 Helen Irene Nix White McFarland, 88, of St. Joe, died Sunday, September 13, 2009 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas after losing her battle with cancer. Helen was born July 12, 1921 in the Shady Grove Community, the daughter of the late Plummer Jordan and Grace E. Patterson Nix. She was the beloved wife of Howard McFarland and the late James E.

White. She was a life long resident of Searcy County. She was a member of the Tomahawk Baptist Church, order of Eastern Star Marshall Chapter and Whitestone Chapter a retired postmaster and also a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband and father of her children James E. White, daughter Helen Delores White Smith, grandson William James (BJ) Watts and sister Phyllis Love.

Survivors include her husband Howard McFarland of Gassville, daughters: Janis Busbee, Sandra Taylor and husband Devoe Taylor and Deb White all of St. Joe, Donna and husband Joe Lee, Mary Kay and husband Ed Castelle both of Gassville, and one son Tim and wife Debbie McFarland of Gassville, fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, two sisters: Geraldine Scott of St. Joe and Peggy Cash of Watts, Oklahoma, and several nieces and nephews and many friends an relatives. Open visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 2:00 P.M.

and Fern A. Young Kenney. He married VivAnn Young October 27, 1956 in Cedar Rapids, IA. A graduate of Roosevelt High School in Cedar Rapids in 1954, he worked for the Milwaukee Railroad, later retiring from the Ca- Home, Arkansas, for- died at 9:15 a.m. September 11, nadian Pacific Railroad as an engineer in 1998.

He had been a resident of Ottumwa from 1972 to 2001, when he and his wife moved to Mountain Home, AR. He attended First Pentecostal Assembly of God in Ottumwa and Twin Lakes Baptist Church in Mountain Home, AR. He was a member of Retired Railroad Club, Rod Reel Fishing Club, and enjoyed fishing, boating, bowling and traveling. Surviving is his wife, VivAnn "Vicki" of Mountain Home, AR; four children, Debra (Terry) King of Ozark, MO, Rodney (Martha) Kenney of Ottumwa, Peggy (Tom) Collins of Altoona, IA and Bradley (Brenda) Kenney of Ottumwa; 6 grandchildren, Christopher King of MO, Kristina (Luke) Frank of MO, Diana (Matt) Jordan of MN, Jeff Kenney of Ottumwa, Chelsea (Sean) Holdridge of IA and Pvt. Thomas Collins of KY; 5 great-grandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews; a sister, Helen (Clifford) Moser of Cedar Rapids, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Eileen Teufel. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, IA with Rev. George Edgerly and Rev. Randy Saylor officiating.

Burial will be p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Cemetery in Cedar IA. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Philip died Sunday, September 13, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 68. He was born Thursday, March 13, 1941 in Elmhurst, Illinois, son of Carl Joseph and Inez Strecker Hairgrove.
