Boston Butt PORK ROAST Fresh Lean PORK CUTLETS Market Made SAUSAGE Winter may not be here yet according to the calendar, but it feels like it anyway these days, and more especially these nights.

It will be fine to have a return to milder weather any day now. But we shall of course accept whatever conies and try to be thankful for it. It was good to hear Gcrri Pyle's voice here again. Jack and Gerri Pyle have returned from a three-weeks trip west. They visited the families of Jack's three sisters: Violet Addy at Orange, Florence at San Diego, and Ixwise Gat-terdam of near Orange, all of California; and also visited Gerri's brother and sister-in-law Jack and Val Hanslip of Mission Vie jo, Calif.

I.ater they went on to see friends Dorothy and Ed Steiner of Las Vegas, Nev. Most of the trip was on a DC 10. They say they are glad to be home, and we are glad to have them. Verne and Dorothy Boggs went back to Little Rock last week for a checkup on his leg and came back with a good report. It is fine to know Verne can walk around now as well as he does, mostly without the cane.

A fine Christmas gift for this year, we are happy for them both. Mr. and Mrs. Willie Smith and family spent Sunday afternoon with the Flemings. Edith Jarabek and Mildred Fleming called late Sunday afternoon on Miss Frances Thomas and Ophelia Davis in Mountain Home.

Miss Frances is feeling better and we did a good bit of talking about old times. We learned she was once a teacher at the old Shady Grove school and the old names flew back and forth, as she said, "It was so long ago." The Shady Grove EHC Christmas party is next Monday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. We meet with Evelynne Olson and Elsie Swatek at 520 E. 8th St.

in Mountain Home. Please bring a gift for the gift exchange, home-made if possible. Everybody come. ADMISSIONS Mountain Home Jean Paris, Rhonda Jones, Karin Arey, Kenneth Floyd, Nettie Patterson, Geraldine Dear-doff, Pete Blevins, Myra Ixjckard, R.D. English, Joe Gray, L.
